Episode 12 “The Mysterious Enemy, Foo Fighter”

The peaceful Card Capital is attacked by a member of the mysterious organization, “Foo Fighter” named Minami. He has a “VF Glove” which makes fights cause actual damage to players.

Sharlene and Jillian are confirmed to exist in this setting, and their ages are the same as they were in the original series, despite Leon’s younger age.

Kenji is a 11th Grader in High School. His other two teammates are inferred to exist.
