G Units are special cards that can be placed in the G Zone, a location separate from the Main Deck or Ride Deck, and there can be up to 16 cards in the G Zone. G Units are cards whose bottom of the cards!

The G Zone is a place where cards that don’t belong to the Main or Ride Deck. G Unit are placed there face-down before the fight begins!

How Stride Works

Timing for Stride:

Ride Phase: Ride Step -> Stride Step

you can Stride during the Stride Step, which occurs during the Ride Phase!

Just How Do I Stride Anyways?

If both players have a Grade 3 Vanguard or you begin a turn with a Grade 3 or higher Vanguard, you can choose cards from your hand for the Stride Cost of the G Unit, then Stride a face-down G Unit from the G Zone!

Visual Explanation:

1. If both players have a Grade 3 G Unit, or you begin your turn with a Grade 3 or higher Vanguard

2. You can take cards required for the Stride Cost from the hand, and place them in the Drop Zone

G Unit & “Heart”

A Stride’d G Unit and its Heart

Your original Vanguard serves as a Heart for the G Unit, where its Power and Name are carried over to the G Unit! However, you cannot activate the abilities of the Heart!

Warning: A Heart is not a card in the Soul!

For Example! Chronodragon Nextage gains Chronojet Dragon’s 11000 Power which with its 15000 Power grants it 26000 Power!

Its name is both Chronodragon Nextage and Chronojet Dragon!

When Your Turn Ends

A G Unit, cannot remain on the field past the turn it was Stride. During the End Phase of the turn you Stride, it returns to the G Zone face-up. And the Vanguard that became a Heart returns to being your Vanguard. A face-up G Unit in the G Zone cannot be used for Stride.
