And Now For A Word From The Vanguard R&D Department!!

Today’s card we’re introducing is the Sentinel “Dragsaver, Esras” from the 9th Booster Pack “Divine Dragon Caper” (on sale November 11th, 2016) who has the new 《Shadow Paladin》 clan ability 【Ritual】.

First, let us review 【Ritual】!
The new 《Shadow Paladin》 clan ability “Ritual” is an ability that becomes active when there’s a certain amount of Grade 1 cards in your Drop Zone. For example, Ritual 3 means that an effect can be activated if there’s 3 Grade 1 cards.

“Dragsaver, Esras”, once you’ve achieved Ritual 3, is a Sentinel that can return itself from the Drop Zone to the hand! Of course the cost to activate is that you need to sacrifice 1 of your ally Rear-guards, but since you can return any other “Esras” in your Drop Zone to the Deck at the same time, you can prevent running out of Sentinels. Meaning you can Guard against your opponent’s attack with Sentinels over and over again. And since it’s possible to avoid having your Deck run out of Grade 1 Units at the same time, it’s definitely handy.

“Divine Dragon Caper” is full of cards that enhance 【Ritual】. And for this week’s “Weekly Vanguard News Bits NEXT” (on at 9PM JST), we’ll be showing 《Shadow Paladin》 cards, so be sure to watch!
