Vanguard takes over Akihabara for May 2018
Force Clans are “Mario” or “Jack of all Trades” Clans, focused on balance between Attack and Defense.
These clans have Strong Grade 2 and 3 cards, with solid offensive and defensive plays. Chiefly these clans also focus on strengthening Units (though variation exists between clans).
They’re meant to be extremely easy to use from the start.
Accel Clans are clans focused on multiple and continuous attacks.
By increasing the number of front row Circles, the number of attacks increases. These clans often Stand with abilities to attack again.
Also, Front Triggers belong exclusively to these clans, as the more circles you gain the more attacks you can pull of, which also works well with Stand related abilities.
Protect Clans are clans focused on winning through defending and hoarding resources.
Ride to gain “Perfect Guards”. Keep in mind hand discards will be needed for these cards. Lacking the outright power or attacks of other clans, Protect Clans focus on various abilities such as Deck searching, extra Draws, Retire, and various disruption effects.
To ensure these cards survive and get to be sued, you’ll want to use powerful Guardians.
Grade 1 / Normal / Star Gate – Nova Grappler – Battleroid
ACT (VC) 1/Turn: COST [Place 1 card from your hand into the Soul], During that turn, this Unit can attack, even if you went first, but you lose Drive-1.
AUTO (RC) 1/Turn: When your back-row Rear-guard in the same column as this card Stands, you can Stand this card.
