And Now For A Word From The Vanguard R&D Department!!

For Today’s Card we’re introducing from the 10th Booster Pack “Raging Clash of the Blade Fangs” (On sale February 3rd, 2017) are the 《Tachikaze》 RR, 【Engorge】 support cards “Flamethrower Dragon, Gigantoflame” and “Rusher Elasmo”.

“Flamethrower Dragon, Gigantoflame” is a Grade 2 Unit with 11000 Power! It has a restriction that it can’t attack the opponent’s Vanguard if your ally Unit Vanguard isn’t Engorged OR your Vanguard isn’t “Gaia”, but it has a charming 11000 Power. Also, it can attack Rear-guards normally, meaning it can serve as a menace to the opponent. And for each of your other allies that are EEngorged, Gigantoflame gains 5000 Power. It becomes very easy to attack.

Next up, while “Rusher Elasmo” is fairly week with 7000 Power, it has a Unique ability for a Grade 2 Unit. When it’s Retired from your Rear-guard circle while it’s Engorged, you can Soul Blast 1 card to Call it back to a Rear-guard Circle with no Unit occupying it. And once you;ve achieved Generation Break 1, it gains the Continuous ability of “Boost”. It can Intercept from the front row, it can Boost from the back row, making this a multi-faceted Unit that can be used in any circle.

Finally this weekend, “Raging Clash of the Blade Fangs” goes on sale! This week’s “Weekly Vanguard News Bits NEXT” will have a fight using the new cards! So be sure to check it out!
