Deck Recipes from Bushiroad for the 2nd Title Booster
真剣必殺 特!! Shinken Hissatsu Toku!!
A Deck that fights using the “Shinken Hissatsu” ability that become active when your Damage is 3 or higher.
Because it contains cards from the Title Trial Deck and the 2nd Title Booster, it’s a Deck we can recommend for people just starting off Vanguard! At the heart of this Deck is “Uguisumaru Toku”, a Grade 3 that’s ideal to Ride with. And if you Stride it when you have 3 or more Damage, you can grant 3 Units an additional 3000 Power. So the turn before you Stride, shore up your field by calling Allies. “Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki Toku” can launch a 16000 Power Attack against the opponent’s Vanguard from the Back Row. So early on Boost with it, then later on, have it attack from the Back Row.
The G Unit “Higekiri” is strong. When you Drive Check a Grade 3 Card, you can have it and an ally gain 5000 Power, making it difficult for your opponent to know the number of Shields they need to defense.

The Touken Danshi of Awataguchi have assembled, centered around “Ichigo Hitofuri” and “Toushirou” cards! With the G Unit “Ichigo Hitofuri” serving as the Deck’s Trump Card, you’ll have acccess to its powerful effect. It grants all “Toushirou” an addditional 6000 Power, while also powering up “Ichigo Hitofuri Toku” itself! And if there are are 2 or more face-up “Ichigo Hitofuri Toku” in your G Zone, it gains an additional critical!
“Akita Toushirou Toku”, if your Vanguard is “Ichigo Hitofuri” or “Ichigo Hitofuri Toku” can increase your “Toushirou” allies, so use the abilityaggressively.
If you Stride “Ichigo Hitofuri” with anything other than “Ichigo Hitofuri Toku” keep in mind the card that Stride retains the name of the original Grade 3 card, so that means your Vanguard will remain “Ichigo Hitofuri”.

“Homare” is an incredibly powerful ability, that the first time that turn that a single member has their attack hit the Vanguard, you can activate their ability. “Hotarumaru Toku” appears with a super-high class Homare ability. When its attack hits, you can Stand all Rearguards in one of your Columns. You can use “Hotarumaru Toku” as both your Vanguard and Rearguard, allowing you to apply incredibly pressure to your opponent.
“Shokudaikiri Mitsutada Toku” is a linchpin in this Deck, who is the Ideal card to ride as your Grade 3. When you Stride it, you can Call an ally from your hand and grant it 5000 Power. And then you can Power Up an ally with with the Homare ability. In other words if you call an ally with the Homare ability, it can gain a maximum of 10000 Power, which should be more than enough to ensure its attack hits the opponent Vanguard.

“Nitou Kaigan” reappears in Vanguard as a combination attack between Uchigatanas and Wakazashi! If you have a Uchigatana and a Wakizashi lined up in the same column, you can activate the Nitou Kaigan ability!
“Doudanuki Masakuni” and the like have the Uchigatana Nitou Kaigan, where you have an Wakizashi called behind them, and can activate it by Boosting with the Wakizashi.
“Urashima Kotetsu” and the like have the Wakizashi ability where you call a Uchigatana in front of them, have have them Boost the Uchigatana.
Of course if you have both a Uchigatana and Wakizashi with Nitou Kaigan in the same column, you can activate both of their Nitou Kaigan abilities!!
Above all, the combination of “Izuminokami Kanesada Toku” and “Horikawa Kunihiro Toku” are especially powerful together. By having them attack together, you can raise their power up to 260000 together.
Besides, when “Izuminokami Kanesada Toku” is placed on the field, you can look at the top 7 cards of your Deck to look for a Wakizashi, making it easy to call “Horikwara Kunihiro Toku” behind them.
Call a Uchigatana in the front row, and a Wakizashi in the back row, keep that in mind and victory should be yours!!

A Deck that assembles all 53 members of the Touken Danshi from the 2nd Title Booster! This Deck can utilize “Shinken Hissatsu”, “Homare”, “Nitou Kaigan”, “Stride”, “Generation Guard” and even “Legion”. The first 〈Touken Ranbu〉 Legion is “Jiroutachi Toku” and “Taroutachi Toku”. And they’re a first among Legions, as they can call the other! Since it’s unsure what kind of card will be drawn or come out, it’ll make for quite the everchanging fight!
