And Now For A Word From The Vanguard R&D Department!!

For Today’s Card, we’re introducing three cards from the 2nd Title Booster “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- 2” (on sale October 14th, 2016):
• “Ookurikara Toku”
• “Doudanuki Masakuni Toku”
• “Urashima Kotetsu”

Before we introduce them, we’ll be reviewing 【Nitou Kaigan】! 【Nitou Kaigan】 is a new ability that’s specifically divided into two major variants:
• The “Nitou Kaigan” of “Uchigatana” is when they’re boosted by 〈Touken Danshi – Wakizashi〉
• The “Nitou Kaigan” of “Wakizashi” is when they boost a 〈Touken Danshi – Uchigatana〉!

When you activate the 【Nitou Kaigan】 of “Ookurikara Toku”, you Counter Charge 1 card! Also it has an 【Shinken Hissatsu】 that activates when it attacks a Vanguard, that lets you Counter Blast 1 card to gain 2000 Power, but its first effect basically erases the cost! By activating this effect, it serves as a 11000 Attack, ensuring that it’ll be good enough to hit a Vanguard by itself.

Continuing with our introductions is “Doudanuki Masakuni Toku”, who gains 2000 Power when it activates its 【Nitou Kaigan】. And it also has the 【Homare】 ability that can only be used once per turn, that when its attack hits a Vanguard, you can draw 1 card. Because you can force your opponent to Guard, you’ll be able to apply further pressure on them!

“Urashima Kotetsu”, when you activate its 【Nitou Kaigan】, you can Soul In 1 card from your hand to draw 1 card!! It’s an important Unit since you can replenish your hand while increasing you Soul, along with the fact many 《Touken Ranbu》 cards use the Soul. By saving up your Soul using this ability, you’ll be in a good place to Power Up.
