[COTD] [G-BT12] Vanquisher-Thunderstrike Support

Two new monsters appear that support Thunderstrike and Vanquisher focused Decks.

And Now For A Word From The Vanguard R&D Dpeartment!!

For Today’s Card, we’re introducing the following from the 12th Booster Pack “Dragon King’s Awakening” (on sale August 25th, 2017), the 《Narukami》 cards, “Lightning Chakram, Gliselle” and “Smash Boxer Dragon”.

“Lightning Charkam, Gliselle” has a Skill that when it’s chosen by the effect of an opponent’s card OR it’s attacked, your opponent chooses one card from their Drop Zone and Binds it face-up! If your opponent is wary of that skill, because of the fact it makes it hard to attack or use card effects on, it can serve as a tough to beat Rear-guard! And if you’ve achieved 【Thunderstrike 5】(There’s 5 or more cards in your opponent’s Bind Zone), it gains Power+9000! And addition to its own Skill, you can increase the size of the Bind Zone using the Skills of cards like “Hardrod Dracokid”, you’ll be able to inflict intense pressure on your opponent.

And, “Smash Boxer Dragon” has an ability during a battle in which it Boosts a Unit with the Thunderstrike ability, that it and the Unit it Boosts cannot be chosen by an opponent’s card effect! This means they won’t be affected by G Guardians that can retire, such as “Flame Wing Steel Beast, Denial Griffin”. And, after a battle in whcih it boosts, if you have a “Vanquisher” Vanguard, you’ve achieved 【Thunderstrike 3】 and Generation Break 1, it can place itself into the Soul to Draw 1 card and Counter Charge 1! This will cover part of the heavy cost of “Conquering Supreme Dragon, Dragonic Vanquisher “VMAX””.
