For Today’s Card, we’re introducing cards that bolster 《Pale Moon》’s “Silver Thorn” from the 3rd Character Booster (on sale March 3rd, 2017): “Silver Thorn Acute Dragon” and “Silver Thorn Clown, Sernet”.
“Silver Thorn Acute Dragon”, when it’s placed on the Rear-guard Circle, and your Vanguard is “Luquier”, it gains 2000 Power! In other words it can attack with 11000 Power on its own. Also, when anoyher of your ally Units is placed on the field from the Soul, if you have a “Luquier” Vanguard, “Acute Dragon” gains Power+2000! And since there’s no turn restriction, each time a Unit is Called from the Soul, it gains Power. So Calling from the Unit can quickly and explosively raise its Power.
Follow on this, “Silver Thorn Clown, Sernet”, at the end of a Battle in which it Boosts the Vanguard, lets you place it into the Soul and discard 1 card from your hand, you cn Call 1 “Silver Thorn” from your Soul to a Rear-guard Circle. It works well with the previously introduced “Acute Dragon”, as when a “Silver Thorn” Unit is Called from the Soul, “Acute Dragon” gains Power. And, while it’s in the Soul, when another of your Units is placed on the Rear-guard Circle from the Soul, you can Counter Blast 1 card to Call “Sernet” itself to a Rear-guard Circle. This synergy is great with “Silver Thorn Dragon Empress, Venus Luquier” that was previously introduced in “Monthly Bushiroad”. You can expect it to serve as an excellent support Unit for “Silver Thorn”.
